Visa rules depend on your nationality. Many travelers can apply for an Oman e-visa online or get a visa on arrival; for the UAE (Dubai) some nationalities get visas on arrival while others must apply in advance.
Oman uses the Omani rial (OMR) and the UAE uses the Emirati dirham (AED). Major hotels, restaurants and shops in Muscat and Dubai accept cards, but carry some local cash for small purchases, markets and tips.
The Khareef (monsoon) season — roughly late June to early September — turns Salalah green and cooler and is the most popular time to visit. If you want the lush landscapes, plan for khareef and book early.
Oman and the UAE are generally safe for tourists. Respect local customs: dress modestly in public and follow mosque rules (cover shoulders and knees; women usually need a headscarf for some mosque visits). Use normal travel caution at crowded places and follow local guidance.
Our standard booking includes the tour components listed on the tour page. Change and cancellation rules depend on the fare, hotel and season — some rates are non-refundable while others allow free changes up to a set date.
